Robert Bowles’ Day of Dementia Education

Robert Bowles Day of Dementia Education with Teepa Snow
See below for an outstanding day of Dementia education, with Teepa Snow as the keynote speaker. But first, learn about the person at the center of it!

There are many forms of Dementia, ranging from A to almost Z. From Alzheimer’s to Frontotemporal. From Huntington’s to Lewy Bodies. From Parkinson’s to Wernicke-Korsakoff.

Far too many variants, affecting far too many individuals.

With so many forms of Dementia, there is much focus on research, prevention, and if we think optimistically for a moment, cure. These efforts are important, but should be thought of as longer term strategies.

What’s Really Needed: Quality of Life… NOW!

It is refreshing to meet individuals who’s sole focus is to enhance qualify of life for the present – NOT just the future. That is KalendarKards’ mission and we are very proud of our role. We are very pleased to have recently met this gentleman, and now, introduce him to you. He is someone who shares our passion to improve Quality of Life NOW – and is also doing something important about it.

Introducing Robert Bowles

Robert Bowles Day of Dementia Education with Teepa Snow
Robert Bowles Jr., Retired Pharmicist

We are all “one of a kind” in this world, but Robert redefines that in ways that are both exciting and inspirational.

Robert Bowles is a retired Pharmacist, with a deeply rooted drive to help others. First, his pharmacy patients and now those living with dementia and their caregivers.

You see Robert is living with Lewy Body Dementia.

It is through his personal experiences, he is able to share his perspectives; perspectives that focus specifically on improving quality of life for others. And his focus is to do it NOW!

It Can’t Be Cured (yet) But it Can Be Fought

Robert has chosen to fight any decline that may come from his impairment. He practices brain games daily, exercises, reads scientific reports and other challenging materials, maintains a positive attitude, and has actually seen his cognitive abilities improve! “Fighting” the disease is an understatement. This is all out war! And he’s holding his own!

Robert’s web site, Living Beyond Diagnosis, is everyone’s window into his vision for:

  • how to learn
  • how to fight, and
  • how to excel.

All points shared on his web site are in the spirit of helping caregivers improve the care they provide, by giving them additional insights and deeper understanding.

You must visit his site, learn more about him, and most importantly, learn more about the service he is providing to others through his transparency.
